Department of Accounting Information

The NUTC Department of Accounting Information develops outstanding graduates who demonstrate the international perspective and information technology expertise to enter the accounting profession. The educational goals are to provide students with (1) the professional skills of accounting, (2) the professional morals and accounting ethics, (3) the ability to communicate effectively and to properly utilize foreign languages, and (4) the aptitude to think independently and analytically.

1. Implementing the concepts of holistic education and diversified learning, the design of the curriculum is to create a sufficient integration between theory and practice. The curricula emphasize the accounting profession and its role in management, finance, tax law, and information technology. Furthermore, accounting for government and non-profit organizations is a unique feature of our curriculum, satisfying the needs of advanced study for public officials. The acquisition of internships and certificates is emphasized to boost students’ competitiveness in the job market.
