The Focus and Feature of Development

The mission of the library is to cultivate well-rounded individuals by providing professional library services and creating a learning environment that fosters academic integration and collaborative growth. With vast collections at its core, the library creates high-quality spaces, provides access to comprehensive resources, enhances professional expertise, improves management efficiency, strengthens the collections of digital content, and offers collegiate academic support.

Introduction of Current Status

The departmental organization of the library includes three divisions. The Acquisitions and Cataloging Division is responsible for technical services of all kinds of library materials as well as their management, donation, and statistics of uses. The Reader Services Division offers reference consultation, information system services, and the promotion of library resources and institutional collections. The Circulation and Collection Division handles services related to circulation desk, audiovisual collections, and the management of readers’ access to the library. Besides the main library, Mingsheng Branch library provides services of the same kind, in order to bring teachers and students on the Mingsheng campus with equal access to the diverse information resources.
