The Department of Senior Citizen Service Management of National Taichung University of Science and Technology was established since 2009.  The Department sets up four-year and two-year programs in the day division and the continuing education, and provides professional long-term care institution management and elderly care service courses, so as to train professional and practical skills in the management of elderly services.

The major educational goal of the Department aims to cultivate students with the abilities of (CAPE)c, corresponding to Care, Administration, Policy-making, Ethic thinking, and Communication abilities. The students are trained to be middle and above managers in the long term care industry through developing (CAPE)c abilities.
