Department of Creative Product Design

 

Objectives

The Department of Creative Product Design is committed to educating students so that they acquire craft aesthetics and technical competence in the fields of creative product design. The primary educational objective is to provide instruction in both the theoretical and practical design fields. The professional component of the curriculum extends throughout the study and provides students with the knowledge and creative skills, presentation, and communication to enter creative design careers in the industry.

 

Characteristics

Students of this Department develop and practice initiative and creativity through the design learning that is integrated into their studies. Emphasis is placed on the following:

  1. Providing students with knowledge of design theory and cultural creativity to improve their initiative
  2. Integrating knowledge of sustainable development and acquiring competence in caring and eco-friendly design
  3. Improving aesthetic appreciation and implementation capabilities
  4. Enhancing product commercialization capabilities by providing courses related to communication and branding
  5. Focusing on culture-oriented and smart caring product design and development
