The Department of Insurance and Finance merged the Department of Banking and Insurance with the Department of Risk Management and Insurance on August 1, 2010. The merger was to share resources, utilize equipment, combine related courses, and set up integrated educational systems.
Our junior college of five-year program, four-year college, two-year college and master’s program features high-quality faculty with good curriculums, cultivating senior professionals in insurance and finance with an emphasis on theory and practice and providing complete training on theories and practical skills in insurance and finance.
The education mission of the department is to cultivate talents with practical skills at high-intermediate levels in the government, insurance and financial institutions of public and private companies to qualify our graduates to be professionals in insurance and finance.
